  • Decisions made by tournament organizers, including bracket placements or disqualifications.

2. User Conduct

Users are expected to maintain sportsmanship and follow the rules set by individual tournament organizers. We reserve the right to restrict access to the platform for users who violate Discord Community Guidelines or engage in abusive behavior.

3. Service Status

This service is provided "as-is" without any warranties. As a community-driven project, features may change, be added, or be removed at any time.

Privacy Policy

Our platform collects data through two primary methods: the Warzone Kerala Discord bot and our website's integrated features. This information is stored in Google Firestore, our backend database.

1. Discord Bot Data

The bot collects membership and gaming profile data to support community features. The data collected includes:

  • Discord Member Data: Discord User ID and join timestamp, used to manage community membership.
  • Activision ID: Your in-game Activision ID, if you voluntarily register it via the bot command.

2. User Profile & Event Data

When you sign in to WarzoneKerala.com or participate in our tournament system, we collect:

  • Authentication Data: Your name, email, and profile picture from your Google account.
  • Connected Account Data: Your Discord User ID, username, and Activision ID (if provided).
  • Participation Data: Information about tournaments you register for, teams you join or lead, and your interactions with other participants.

Public Display and Participation Visibility

We have different visibility rules depending on the feature you are using:

Tournaments & Events (Publicly Visible)

To ensure transparency and coordination in competitions, the following information IS publicly displayed to all visitors of the website:

  • Your Display Name and Avatar: Shown when you join a team, lead a team, or are as a participant.
  • Team Membership: Your affiliation with specific teams and their performance status.
  • Activision ID: If you provide an Activision ID, it may be displayed to help tournament organizers and teammates identify you in-game.

How We Use Your Information

The information we collect serves one primary purpose: to operate and improve our community platform. This includes:

  • Managing tournament registrations, bracket placements, and team coordination.
  • Verifying community membership through Discord linking to provide restricted access to specific events.
  • Identity Syncing: The Discord bot may automatically update your server nickname to match your registered Activision ID. This helps maintain a unified identity between the website and the Discord server for tournament coordination.

Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information with any third parties. "Sharing" of data on our platform is limited to the following community-focused activities:

  • Tournament Participation: As detailed above, your display name, avatar, and linked gaming IDs are shared publicly on our event and team pages to facilitate competition.

Your Rights and Control Over Your Data

You are in control of your participation and data:

  • Discord Linking: You can link or unlink your Discord account at any time via your Profile settings. Unlinking will remove your Discord-specific metadata from our website profile.
  • Right to Deletion: You can request the removal of your data by contacting our moderators. This includes deleting your user profile or specific contributions.
  • Event Withdrawal: You can leave teams or de-register from upcoming events at any time, which removes your name and avatar from those specific event pages.

Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect the information we collect and store. Our data is hosted on Google Firestore on servers in the India region (asia-south1). Access to raw data is restricted to authorized personnel only.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify the community through an announcement in our Discord server. Your continued participation after such changes will constitute your acceptance of the new policy.
